You can’t get there from here.
You need to get to your session. You know it. But you’re so busy – you don’t see how you can make it.
Traffic is so bad in that area of town – you never know whether you’ll make it on time. And it’s so far away. You can’t ask off early, there’s no time at lunch, and you can’t go afterward – too much to do, and you’re already exhausted, anyway.
And the kids. If you find someone to keep them, they always seem to have an emergency and cancel at the last minute. You can’t keep paying those cancellation fees.
And you’re still reeling from the last time you got caught in the crosshairs of Mother Nature’s wrath. It’s all too much – you’re overwhelmed.
The therapy itself shouldn’t be a source of your stress –and it doesn’t have to be. But maybe it’s not about getting “there” at all.
Now, you don’t have to…
Our lives are full of uncertainties, but therapy shouldn’t be one of them.
Did you know you can now access therapy services from the comfort of your own home? That’s right! You can now have access to therapy the same way you would if you were in the office – through telehealth!
As a teletherapy provider, we don’t have to miss sessions because of uncertainty, schedule changes, or the weather isn’t sure whether it wants to be winter or summer!
So put on your comfiest pants and favorite slippers and join the session online or by phone. (*Although there’s no dress code in the office, so you can totally wear the same thing in person!)
What’s Teletherapy?
Teletherapy is counseling via technology.
With nothing more than a reliable Internet connection, a private space, and your laptop, tablet, or even cell phone, we can have our session wherever you are. Your favorite chair, your favorite hiking trail, your car – anywhere!
This means we can get the same results via phone or Zoom that we can get in person. This also means you can access my services from anywhere in the state of Colorado.
If you like what I offer but live too far to travel weekly, reach out, and let’s talk about working together via teletherapy. TG Counseling and Play Therapy offers both telehealth sessions (provided via Zoom) and phone sessions.
But does it really work?
Research has shown teletherapy to be just as effective and useful as in-person sessions.
In fact, some clients even prefer it because you can work through the same things you would in person, but you might even be more comfortable in your own home or favorite spot.
During our time in teletherapy, we’ll be talking and working through a lot – so you’ll want to select a safe, quiet, and confidential location for your sessions.
Do I have to choose one format or the other?
We offer sessions in both 45-minute and 90-minute blocks, and you can schedule them as often as you’d like.
You can also combine both in-person and teletherapy sessions – use the technology to your advantage.
Not feeling well but don’t want to miss it? Apprehensive about being seen at an office? Unsure about getting to a new location? Not a problem! Teletherapy offers an excellent solution for just about anything keeping you from an in-person setting.
Don’t let anything stand in the way of your progress.
We’re excited about showing you how it can help you on your journey!
